Hello...

​My name is Sara Goerres, I was born and raised in Luxembourg.

After studying Theatre and German philology at the Freie Unversität Berlin and the Sorbonne Paris III, I worked as an assistant director on several productions in various theatres (Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, Théâtre National du Luxembourg,  Kasemattentheater and Théâtre du Centaure.) I also worked on different theatre projects with children and young people. Since 2021, I am also working as a production manager.

 

In 2021, I directed my first play Y/Z at Kasemattentheater,  followed the next year by my second play DAYDREAMS and in early 2024 my third production "Die Katze Eleonore" at Kaleidoskop Theatre.

Currently I am directing the play "Die unheilige Johanna von Orléans" by Rafael David Kohn, opening night is on November 19th 2025. In spring, I will direct the play "Von Wunden und Wundern" by Sarah Kilter.
